Store Requirements :
Please read carefully to make sure you meet our requirements before applying

We are going to visit all stores before we accept your application. Following rules are not made to "punish" store owners, they are made to make it easier for hunters as a hunt can only be successful if we have happy hunters.

General Info :
No satelite store, no malls, open malls or clubs. It has to be your mainstore.

Landing Point :
You must have a direct LM to your store. Landing point outside of your store is fine, but it has to be in front of your door. We do not want that hunters have to walk a long distances in order to enter your store. Each hunter has more or less problems with lag and textures/ objects not loading properly and fast, compuer/internet problems etc. Than more a hunter has to walk, than most likely he will give up and go to the next store that makes his life easier.

If you are sharing your landing point with other stores, we need to check the whole landing point situation before accepting you in our hunts. Your store and your door needs to be clearly visible while standing on the landing point, so hunters don't need to search for your store before they can search for the hunt object.

Stores with shared landing point or stores that have landing points further away need to be willing to rez a trail that guides hunters from the landing point to the store door.
Check it by yourself : go to your landing point, put your rezzing distance on lowest (Preferences->Graphics->Draw Distance 24/32m)
You can not see your store door ? Then you are one of those that needs to rez a trail, move your landing point closer to your store door or if both impossible, can not participate in our hunts. Sorry.

We do gridwide store hunts and not sim hunts. That's why the distance between landing point and your store door has to be appropriate.

If your landing point is right in front of your door or even inside of your store, you are all fine.

Our Rules :
Please read our rules carefully

1.) TIMELINE / RULES / GUIDELINE :

  • To make sure the Hunt goes smoothly, it is absolutely necessary to follow our timeline, our rules and our guideline ! No exceptions !
  • If you don't follow our timeline, our rules and our guideline, there will be consequences like being moved on bottom of the hunt path, and/or being dropped from the hunt ! This is not because we want to be rude, this is because we want to provide well organized hunts for hunters and for store owners !

2.) YOUR STORE / REQUIREMENTS :

  • No satelite stores, no malls, open malls or clubs. It has to be your mainstore. If you are sharing your store with an other store owner, then we need to check the store situation and can not guarantee that you will be accepted.
  • You must have a direct LM to your store. Landing point outside of your store is fine, but it has to be in front of your door.
  • If you are sharing your landing point with other stores, we are going to check the whole landing point situation carefully as we want hunters to hunt inside of your store and not for the store itself.
  • We use a special scripted hunt object with many features that makes the life of merchants and organizers a lot easier ! Also our Hunt Object renames itself, thats why we use a HUD to do our walkthroughs. Therefore it is absolute neccessary to "run scripts" in "About Land" ! Please check before you apply : About Land -> Options -> Run Scripts (All Residents)
  • If you don't want to allow scripts on your land, please do not apply !
  • We are going to visit all stores before we accept your application.

3.) HUNT GIFT :

  • IMPORTANT : Your hunt gift must strictly match to the hunt theme ! f.e. if the theme is "Summertime", you can not provide a sledge as a hunt gift ! If the theme is "blue sparkles", you can not provide a knitted, red shirt" ! All of our themes gives designers lots of space for own ideas, but please stay in the "theme-frame" !
  • The hunt gift must be your own creation (you must be the creator of the object) !
  • No reseller or business in a box seller
  • To take an old object and to alter the color, the size or any other slightly changes are not allowed.
  • Your hunt gift must be exclusive for the hunt made and not sold in your store, on marketplace or any other places before. After the hunt is over, feel free to sell it.
  • The hunt gift must represent the quality of your store. No freebies or dollarbies !
  • The hunt gift must represent the items you sell in your store. If you sell fashion, make cloths as gift and do not make picture frames if you do not sell them. If you sell furniture, then make furniture as a gift and not a tshirt.
  • Your hunt gift must respect the SL TOS !
  • If you are using any kind of templates, for example mesh templated, then your hunt gift must respect the TOS of the template creator !
  • The hunt gift must be boxed !
  • If there are no other requirements provided for the hunt, generally merchants are free to make a "unisex" hunt gift, a "female" hunt gift, a "male" hunt gift or a "female" AND a "male" hunt gift. If you make more than one hunt gift, you have to box both gifts together in ONE BOX !
  • The hunt object is limited to give out one hunt gift per hunter (and a second one as a backup), so merchants are free to make a "trans/no copy" hunt gift, or a "copy/no trans" hunt gift. It can be "mod" but it doesnt need to be "mod". That's your choise.

4.) THE FI'S HUNTS - MERCHANTS GROUP :

  • You must retain membership of the "Fi's Hunts - Merchants" Group and stay in this group until the hunt ended.

5.) THE HUNT POSTER :

  • The hunt poster has to be rezzed clearly visible at your landing point for the entire duration of hunt..

6.) HINTS & PICTURES :

  • You must provide a hint which we post on our website. Additionally you will receive a hint giver which you can add to your poster. If you want to use this hint giver, thats totally up to you.
  • You must provide a picture (512x512, fullperm) of your hunt gift which will be shown on our website.

7.) DECOYS :

  • Decoys must be limited to 3. Do not use more !

8.) STORE MOVING :

  • If you have to move with your store to an other location, pls let us know (on time). Please fill the "We Moved" Notecard out, rename it with your full name + store name, save it and drop it in the mailboxes of our Organization Team.

9.) OUR GUIDELINE :

  • For additional information please read our Guideline. You must understand and follow our guideline. No exceptions !

10.) ATTENTION :

  • Everyone who doesn't follow our timeline, our rules or our guideline will be removed from this hunt. No exceptions !
  • No refund for sponsorship fee !

1.) Our HUDs

Fi's Hunts is working with special scripted HUDs, to offer best service to our desingers and hunters.

1.1 ) MERCHANTS APPLICATION HUD :
Our Merchants Application HUD is free available at our Hunt Service Center. It will update itself, so it always shows the current and upcoming hunts, you can grab the applications via HUD and you can see if the applications are open or closed. You can wear it as a HUD or rez it at your place.

1.2 ) MERCHANTS WELCOME HUD :
After application process is done, you will receive just one single vendor package, that contains our Welcome HUD. For each hunt there will be a new one.

The Welcome HUD provides all needed information, links and landmarks. On the right side are 3 vendor package buttons. According to the timeline, they will change their colors and start giving the packages out that you need to participate in our hunts. If you ever need a redelivery, then all you have to do is to click the button.

Also for those that are new in our hunts, there is a group inviter button on the HUD. Pls click it to join our group.

1.3 ) HUNTERS HUD :
Our Hunters HUD is free available at our Hunt Service Center, or just click one of our posters.

The Hunters HUD helps hunters to find all needed information fast and guides hunters to the hunt path with all store SURLs, hints and gift pictures.
Since the HUD will update itself for each hunt, hunters have to keep just one single HUD which they can use for all of our hunts.


2.) Designer Application

Designer Applications are available on our website or if you prefer a notecard version, please use your Merchants application HUD.

Applications must be filled out completely and dropped into the application mailbox at the hunt service center. Incomplete applications are useless to us as we need all of those infos in order to organizer the hunts.

Please do not drop your application into our private mailboxes. Unlike the application mailboxes, our private mailboxes are not "shared", which causes a huge delay until you get your welcome package and in worst case your application gets lost.

The same applies if you send your application directly to one of our organization team. We are always capped, and your application will most likely get lost in space.


3.) Timelines

To make sure the Hunt goes smoothly, its is absolutely necessary to follow the timeline !

Not following our timeline can cause in being moved on bottom of the hunt path, and/or being dropped from the hunt !

The timeline gives you enough time to get ready, make sure you are prepared on time !

We do understand that unexpected things can happen. If there is something which doesn't allow you to follow the timeline, please let us know ON TIME !

If there are any issues, we will send a notecard out in the "Fi's Hunts - Merchant" Group and give you 24 hours to correct it. Everyone who is not ready on time, will be dropped or replaced in the hunt. We don't want to be rude, but to organize a hunt takes lots of time, work, money and energy and we can't check one shop over and over again. We think we are all adults and should be able to follow the timeline.

However, if you can't follow the timeline for any reason, please let us know on time and we will find a solution. Communication is the key !


4.) Fi's Hunts Merchants Group

5.1 ) General Infos :
Our Organization Team is constantly working on between 3 and 5 hunts at the same time. And with that big amount of designers, it is impossible to send group invites and messages individually. It is absolute necessary to join our group on time and stay in our group for the entire duration of the hunt ! Leaving the group sooner means you are not willing to follow our rules and this will most likely cause in being removed from the hunt.

You must retain membership of the "Fi's Hunts - Merchants" Group and stay in this group until the hunt ended.

"Receive group notices" must be enabled ! If you disable it and you miss some important information, it is your very own responsibility to check the older group messages on a regular base.

Ask youself, how would you feel if you send us a message and we ignore it ? The same applies to our group messages.

5.2 ) How to join our group ?
First of all, we do not send out group invites to designer ! In the past there have been to many "i did not get the group invite" cases and we do not have the time to check if designers are online and run behind them.

That's why, to get a group invite, pls click the group inviter button on your "Welcome HUD" and a group invite will be send to you automatically.

Clicking a button on the HUD is much faster than waiting until a manager is online to ask for a group invite.

5.3 ) Out of group space ?
We do understand that group slots are always a problem in SL. However, in order to participate in our hunts, it is necessary to be a part of our group.

If you do not have a group slot open for our hunts, you can optionally join with your alt or with a store representative, for example your store manager, partner, assistant, etc. If you can not join with your main character, please let us know in your application, and we will make sure to send the welcome package to that person as well, so he/she can join via group inviter button on our Welcome HUD. However, in this case you will need to make sure that this person keeps you informed about what's going on in our group and we are not responsible if you miss some important information.

5.4 ) Group Messages :
All needed information will be send out in our group. Also we will send out check lists. If someone is not ready or something is missing, we will put that on our check list. It is your own responsibility to check them.

Please note : Since we are all adults and the timeline is visible for everyone, there should not be any reminders ! However, we are willing to send out reminders in form of our check lists but we do not send out "private reminders" as first of all we do not have the time and second there have been to many "i did not get it, i was capped" in the past. That's why, reminders will only be send out in our group messages !

5.5 ) Group Chat :
We are very proud to have very friendly and helpful group members in our group. We help eachother, grow together and we had many wonderful conversations.

If you need any assistance, feel free to use the group chat. Usually there is at least one manager online and if not, we have many "longterm" designers in our group that are happy to help you.

A friendly conversation is always welcome !

Don't worry, we are not "spammy" but if you feel that we "talk to much", feel free to disable our group chat, but make sure to keep "group messages" enabled !



5.) Shop Positioning

Our Hunt Organization Team will check all received applications and the stores carefully.

Sponsors will be placed in the first top spots of the hunt path.

Everyone else will be asigned random (via random.org)

If you apply after application deadline and we still have free spots left, you will be added to the next available position.

If you are not prepared on time, we reserve the right to drop you down on the last positions of the hunt path and/or remove you from the hunt. This applies to sponsors as well.



6.) Vendor Packages

You will receive 3 vendor packages in total.
The very first one, the welcome package will go out via our delivery terminal that checks if you are online before it sends anything to you to avoid not getting the package because of being capped.

The welcome package contains your welcome HUD. All other packages you can grab via HUD and we do not send them out ! To many complained in the past that they did not get the packages because of being capped and to many designers did not check out group messages to grab it there. That's why, they are available only via HUD.

On your Welcome HUD there are 3 vendor pack buttons. According to the timeline, they will turn green and start to give out the packages.

If you need a Redelivery of a Vendor Package, just use the HUD or our Redelivery Terminals at the Hunt Service Center.

What do the packages contain ?
- The Welcome Vendor Package contains the Hunt Poster and the Welcome HUD that provides all needed information. So all what you need to keep is your Welcome HUD.
- The Second Vendor Package contains the Hint&Pic NC and the Sponsor Logo NC.
- The Final Vendor Package contains all Hunt Objects, the hint giver (optional) and the path trail.



7.) Redelivery

A redelivery of the first package, the Welcome Package is available at the Hunt Service Center (next to the hunt poster).

A redelivery of the second and the final package you can grab via Welcome HUD (which you can find in your welcome package)

Please note : Since the vendor packages contain scripted objects like our Welcome HUD and the poster, our hunt managers can not send you the packages directly as they do not have those objects fullperm. The easiest and fastest way for you to get a redelivery is to go over to the hunt center and grab it there via redelivery terminal.



8.) Hunt Gifts

Remember, we accepted your application because of the products you are selling at your store !

Your hunt gift must respect the SL TOS !

If you are using any kind of templates, for example mesh templated, then your hunt gift must respect the TOS of the template creator !

The hunt gift must be boxed !

If there are no other requirements provided for the hunt, merchants are free to make a
- unisex hunt gift
- gift for women
- gift for men
- one gift for women and a second gift for men. But if you make 2 gifts, both gifts needs to be boxed into one box and both gifts needs to be on one picture.

9.) Hunt Gift Pictures

You must provide a picture (512x512, fullperm) of your hunt gift which will be shown on our website. If you make 2 gifts like one for women and one for men, both gifts needs to be on one picture as we can only post one picture per designer on our website.


10.) Our Hunt Poster

You will receive the hunt poster with your Welcome Package. To get a poster redelivery, please click the big poster image on your Welcome HUD.

The hunt poster has to be rezzed clearly visible at your landing point, latest the date of our application deadline and for the entire duration of hunt.

To resize the poster, please use the + and - button on the backside of the poster. Those buttons will work only for you.

The hunt poster is probably the most important tool to promote a hunt and to make each hunt a successful hunt. Remember, each designer can join our hunts for free and in return we expect each designer to promote our hunt in form of rezzing the poster at the landing point.

We believe in "fairplay" and it is not fair to let other merchants do "advertisement" for you store while noone can read and/or find the poster at your place ! Please be fair and rez it clearly visible and not hidden in a dark, small corner.

Yes, our posters are "no Mod", which has to do with the fact that there have been to many designers that ignored our rules, and unlinked/changed/broke our posters until they did not have anything to do with our original posters anymore.

If you want to change the size of the poster, there is a + and a - button on the backside of your poster. More "Mod" is not needed. And yes, the minimum size is also limited as we want that people are able to actually read whats on the poster.



11.) The Hunt Object

The hunt object you will receive with the "Final Vendor Package" (available via Welcome HUD)

Feel free to load your hunt gift as soon as you got the hunt object. The hunt object has a starting date (the day when the hunt actually starts) and an expiration date (one or two day/s after the hunt has ended). The hunt object won't give out any hunt gifts before the hunt starts and it will delete itself ne or two day/s after the hunt has ended.

The Hunt Object must be placed within 30 meters walking distance around the hunt poster (landing point). If you can't do this for any reasons, a trail must be placed on the floor that guides hunters into the direction of the hunt object.

If you have a store with more floors, then the hunt object must be placed on the first floor and not on second, third, etc.

Since we do a gridwide store hunt and not a sim hunt, the maximum distance between landing point and hunt object can not be more than 60m walking distance.

The hunt object must be hidden inside of your store and not outside. Many designers can for sure be proud about their landscaping skills and we do understand that they want to show hunters their wonderful piece of land, but again, we do a store hunt, not a sim hunt.

Our hunt objects have a limitation of max 2 gifts per hunter. Means each hunter can only get one hunt gift (and a second as a backup), so merchants are free to make their hunt gift "no copy/trans" or no "trans/copy".

If your gift contains more than one object or if you made 2 gifts (for women and men), everything must be boxed in just one box before your load it into the hunt object !

It is not allowed to remove the script, LMs or NCs which are in the hunt object's content.

You can not re-texture or re-size the hunt object. It will change back to original.
Do not try to rename the hunt object. It will change its name every few minutes.
Our Hunt object works on "touch", not on "buy" ! Do not try to set up the hunt object for sale as it will change it back.

It is not allowed to hide the hunt object inside of an other prim. Please give hunters a chance to find it !

The absolute only thing you have to do is add your hunt gift in the hunt object and hide it ! That's all and the rest our hunt object will do for you.



12.) Decoys

Some store owner prefer to use decoys but they must be limited to max. 3. Do not use more !
Decoys must be placed inside of your store. Do not rez them at spots where hunters cant find them, f.e. your building plattform in 4.000m)


13.) Store Moving

If you moved with your store to an other location, pls let us know (on time). Please fill the "We Moved" Notecard out, rename it with your full name + store name, save it and drop it into the private mailboxes of our organization team. The mailboxes you can find at the entrance of the hunt center with profile pictures of our team on it.

If you do not inform us about your moving, you will be dropped - also without a notification !



14.) Our Bloggers & Blogger Lounge

We have our own Fi's Hunts Bloggers that will blog our hunt gifts.

Please do not send the gifts directly to our bloggers ! We made a special blogger lounge where designers have to provide their gifts and bloggers can grab the gifts that they want to blog there.

Our bloggers will send out their post links in our Merchant Group, so pls keep an eye on that.

Our Bloggers do their very best to blog as many gifts as possible, but please understand that we can not guarantee that each gift will be blogged ! But we are very proud to say that our blogger team does an amazing job and so far almost each store gets at least one post.

Please remember : We are kind enough to have bloggers that blog your gifts so your store gets additional promotion (for free), so please be kind enough and do not "use" our blogger group to recruit new bloggers for your own store blogger group ! That is not fair to our group.

1.) Hunt Sponsor

1. ) How to become a Hunt Sponsor :
This part is about how to sponsor one certain hunt.

1.1 ) Benefits
Sponsors will be placed in the top spots which will be assigned on the first come first save basis (Day/Time of the payment).

Sponsors can provide a store logo with SURL to your shop or link to your website/blog or marketplace store, which will be shown on our website (while the hunt is going on).

The Logo of our Sponsors will be placed in our Fi's Hunts Service Center (while the hunt is going on)

1.2 ) How to become a Hunt Sponsor
If you would like to sponsor one of our hunts, pls let us know in your application (question No.10). The sponsor spots are limited and if we still have sponsor spots left, you will receive a Sponsor Confirmation Notecard. Please read this notecard carefully and follow the instructions.

1.3 ) The Fee
Sponsorship fee is 350 L$ and must be paid right after you got your "Acceptance Notecard". Please do not pay the fee if you did not get the Acceptance Notecard !
We do not give a refund on a Sponsorship Fee !

Where to find our application ?
If you would like to apply for one of our hunts, there are 2 options. You can find the application either on our website or you can use our merchants application HUD which is free available at our hunt service center. The HUD gives you a NC version of our application.

On our Website :
1.) go to the OUR HUNTS tab
2.) pick the hunt and click "for more infos" to open the hunt page
3.) right under the poster you will find "Designer Info". Click the slider arrow and there you will will find the application


How to apply ?
1.) Please make sure to read our store requirements, our rules and our guideline before applying. If you have more questions, please contact one of our hunt managers. They are happy to assist you.
2.) Now either grab the application as a notecard version via merchants application HUD or go to the application page and copy and paste your application into a NC.
3.) Fill the application completely out, rename it properly and do not forget to save your notecard.
4.) Go to the hunt service center and drop it into the application mailbox on the correct hunt wall. Please do not send your application directly to us as we are capped fast and your application will most likely get lost.
5.) Please give us a few days to go through the applications. Usually you will get a response within 48hours.
